Introduction

I started this journal in April of 2015 and to date have written over 500 pages. The plan is to publish it in this format a little at a time, weekly on Wednesdays, and with the benefit of hindsight, I will be adding additional information or insights that I didn't have at the time I wrote it. For instance, knowing a person over the internet isn't the same as living with them in person. For instance, Michael and I each have personal habits that we are having to get used to in each other but but that would be true of any couple beginning to live together.  In the main, the basic person Michael is remains constant and there have been no discoveries that either of us is an axe murderer or has in any way misrepresented who we are.

This is the story of an unconventional paring of an older woman and a man half her age who met in an unconventional manner, and who then went on to take the incredibly unconventional step of making the decision to live together before they had even met. It is as honest as I can make it, incredibly personal at times, even embarrassing. But it is real and not done yet.

Because this is a blog, it is in reverse order with the newest entry first, but to best get the idea of who we are and where we have come from, please start with the oldest entry and work forward.
